The organisation team of Piano Trio Fest has decided that the concert on February 24, 2023 will be a benefit concert in aid of the victims of the Ukrainian war and the recent earthquakes. Admission will be free and a collection will be prepared for your donations. However, you can still book your tickets online, all proceeds from purchased tickets will be transferred immediately to: www.glueckskette.ch.

ALTERNA TRIO
The Siegburg Beethoven Competition provided the impetus for founding the Cologne-based Trio Alterna. The trio immediately won 2nd prize in the competition and the prize for the best Beethoven interpretation. The trio gave its first public concert in December 2021 at the Tonspuren concert series in Düren. A CD recording with Beethoven Trios is planned in cooperation with WDR and Genuin 2022-2023.
The members of the Cologne Alterna Trio are specialists in historical performance practice. The centerpiece of their program will be the world premiere of the commissioned work the Greek-Swiss composer Eleni Ralli. We are excited about the synthesis of different musical languages.
