NOREA TRIO
Sometimes a musical journey begins quite unexpectedly – for example, with the oldest known recipe for Swiss chocolate.
Inspired by the literary stories of Signau-based chocolatier Karl Rechsteiner, the Norea Trio combines music, history, and taste.
The programme revolves around two culturally significant years: 1819, the founding of the first Swiss chocolate factory in Vevey, and 1875, when Swiss chocolatier Daniel Peter invented milk chocolate.
Hummel’s Trio op. 83 and Dvořák’s First Piano Trio, both written in those very years, form the foundation for a musical and culinary concert experience that culminates in a small on-site chocolate presentation – a delightful finale for all the senses.
