MARIAN PETRESCU TRIO
The second concert of the Piano Trio Festival is traditionally dedicated to jazz. In this genre of music, the piano trio is considered the standard formation.
The internationally acclaimed piano virtuoso and Grammy winner Marian Petrescu — often referred to as the “Horowitz of jazz piano” — performs together with Joel Locher on bass and Felix Schrack on drums.
Singer Alice Paroissien, a 2026 graduate of Malin Hartelius's vocal class at the HKB (Bern University of the Arts), lends the evening an intimate yet elegant touch. She has already performed at major jazz festivals and is now continuing her musical journey in Paris. Thus, on Valentine's Day, a concert will unfold, brimming with energy, sophistication, and a lyrical atmosphere.
