TRIO CHIMERICO
Sometimes a unique soundscape emerges precisely from unusual instrumentations. With flute, violin, and piano, the Trio Chimerico presents a rarely heard combination in concert life for the first time at the Piano Trio Fest.
With works by Joseph Lauber, Bohuslav Martinů and Nino Rota, the Ticino ensemble combines Swiss balance within late-romantic sonic richness, neoclassical elegance and Italian cantabile into a finely nuanced dialogue in the traditional Distelzwang Hall.
