VARIABLE TRIO

As hinted at in the previous concert with Trio Chimerico, the Piano Trio Fest continues its musical journey southward: For the first time, the Variable Trio, an ensemble from Sicily, will be performing at the Piano Trio Fest. Their unusual combination of clarinet, viola, and piano creates a particularly warm and colorful soundscape with a Mediterranean flair.

From Mozart's famous Kegelstatt trio The two performers and the female performer guide us from Schumann's poetic fairy tales to rarely performed works by the Swiss composer Paul Juon and the Leipzig Romantic Carl Reinecke. The atmospheric event hall of the Bernapark cultural center once again unfolds its special ambiance.
